Dr. Vivien Karl raises 1.5 million euros

Female Health Startup Dr. Vivien Karl has successfully raised 1.5 million euros, convincing Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures, Tina Müller and better ventures of their plan.

The startup was able to gain support in a pre-seed round. The D2C experts Monique Hoell (HelloBody) and Benedikt Klarmann (Junglück) as well as Laurence Saunier and Marlena Hien (Bears with Benefits) from the Angel Club better ventures were convinced by the business idea. In addition, the startup was able to win Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures as a new main investor. Tina Müller, the former CEO of Douglas, had already participated as an investor in January and will now also become a member of the advisory board. Mirko Casper from Mister Spex is also on board.

Unfortunately, female health is still a topic that is neglected by too many investors.

The follow-on funding will be used to expand the distribution channels, expand the team and conduct clinical trials to validate the product.
