Once known for his Great Gatsby-style parties, Hung Dang has now founded his second company, Y42. His start-up has now raised 2.9 million US dollars.

The Berlin start-up Y42 has raised 2.9 million US dollars in a seed financing round, according to start-up scene reports. The round was led by venture capitalist La Famiglia. The co-founders of Foodspring, Personio and Aeromobil, among others, are also involved.

Founder Hung Dang writes on the start-up's website: "The funding will help us to continue pursuing our mission and further support our market launch strategy and product development." New features are planned to further support Y42 customers.

Y42 has developed a platform that allows customers to analyze and integrate their data from Facebook Ads, for example. Current customers include the sustainable start-up Everdrop and the listed telemedicine company Lifemd.

Founder Dang became famous for organizing a series of parties in the style of The Great Gatsby. He founded an event company and developed a global data platform for Eventim that can be used to analyze events. He reinvested the money from this in his new start-up Y42, formerly known as Datos.
