Financing portal simplifies loan applications for doctors

With the help of Venture Clienting, BW-Bank launches an innovative financing portal for medical practice start-ups with technology partner Teylor.

Stuttgart, April 22, 2025 - BW Bank, part of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), has launched a new digital financing portal for doctors in private practice and other healthcare professionals together with Swiss fintech Teylor. The platform enables a fully digital loan application - around the clock and with a transparent processing status.

The project was realized as part of LBBW's Venture Clienting approach. The aim: to quickly transform innovations from the start-up ecosystem into marketable solutions - together with partners who bring technological excellence to the table.

Faster access to financing

The new platform is aimed specifically at healthcare professionals who want to set up, take over or modernize a practice. The digital solution reduces bureaucracy and speeds up loan processing.

We thus offer our customers a modern, digital and yet personal customer journey. As a long-standing partner of the medical professions - in Baden-Württemberg alone, we support around 25% of doctors in private practice - we are creating an additional offering with the portal that significantly simplifies access to financing.

Technology meets advice

Teylor's software solution was specifically adapted to the requirements of the target group. It is fully integrated into BW Bank's internal processes and systems, creating a seamless user experience for both existing and new customers.

Future-proof and scalable

The platform is part of BW Bank's omnichannel strategy, which combines digital tools with individual advice. In the future, the financing portal will be extended to other customer groups such as freelancers and small businesses.
