Finmarie launches app on the market

The Finmarie founders want to help women improve their financial knowledge and invest their money. They are now taking the next step with the app.
As of today, the app from Berlin-based startup Finmarie is available in the Apple Store and on Google Play. It is aimed particularly at women who want to invest money. With short texts and videos, they can expand their financial knowledge and receive an individual portfolio recommendation based on a questionnaire. Female users also gain insight into the portfolios of the Finmarie founders and other female investors and can exchange ideas in their own community.
"We want to raise awareness about finance, make investing more accessible and transparent and, above all, help women move from theory to action. Today we are taking the next step on our mission with the app launch," says Finmarie co-founder Rica Klitzke. Founded by Karolina Decker, the company started in 2018 with personal finance advice for women.
Last year, Rica Klitzke and Leitha Matz joined as co-founders. Finmarie then expanded its business model to include robo advisors, financial coaching and educational services about finance. In October, the start-up received 1.4 million euros from High-Tech Gründerfonds and Wallstreet:online.
