Fintech from ex-Penta manager raises one million euros

For a good two years, Ivan Maryasin was in charge of growth at Neobank. Now he is launching his own fintech. The first investors are already on board.
Ivan Maryasin's new project is starting at full throttle: The former Head of Growth at Neobank Penta is raising €1.1 million for his new fintech Monite in a pre-seed financing round. The money comes from venture capitalist Tomahawk, Run Capital and Signals, the investment arm of insurance company Signal Iduna, among others. Business angels Alfred Schorno (founder of 360T) and Ralph Müller (former Postbank board member) are also on board.
Monite wants to provide a central tool for financial management in companies. Via the platform of the Berlin start-up, entrepreneurs should be able to centrally manage all their bank accounts, organize quotes and invoices, and manage accounting. The target group is primarily small and medium-sized businesses.
Maryasin, who is also CEO of Monite, and his partner Andrey Korchak founded the company last year. Korchak was previously at Toschka, a Russian fintech. Currently, potential customers can sign up for a waiting list on the company's website.
