The Berlin-based proptech acquires Homefully, its next competitor after Goliving, Erasmo's Room and Quarters. In addition, Habyt raises 20 million in a current financing round.

It is already the fourth acquisition within a year: The proptech Habyt takes over its competitor Homefully. At the same time, Habyt is pleased to announce the closing of a successful Series B funding round of €20 million. HV Capital, Vorwerk Ventures, P101, Picus Capital and Inveready participated in the round. With the money raised and the acquisition, Habyt will work on expanding its offering, founder and CEO Luca Bovone has big plans: "We are now looking at strategic targets in Europe, especially in France and Italy, but also on other continents, especially in Asia."

Previously, Habyt had already bought Goliving, Erasmo's Room and Quarters. Homefully is to exist as an independent company for the time being and is pleased about the collaboration: "The co-living market is in a consolidation phase and Habyt has seized this opportunity quickly and effectively," says Sebastian Wuerz, who founded Homefully in 2016. "Joining forces is a critical step in that direction, and I'm excited for the team to be part of that journey."

Like Habyt, Homefully offers furnished apartments and flats for flexible rental periods. The concept is primarily aimed at young people who move a lot between different places to live and work. Founded in 2017, the startup Habyt says it now has 5,000 of these units in six countries.
