The Berlin-based start-up offers individual skin care products. The concept convinces new and old investors.

Skin care start-up Formel Skin has raised €30 million, according to information from Gründerszene 30 million euros in funding. Singular is a new entrant and led the Series A funding round. Other investors include Heal Capital, Cherry Ventures, Heartcore Capital and Vorwerk Ventures. Since its founding in 2019, the startup has received a total of €36 million in investor funding. With the fresh capital, the startup is probably looking to expand.

Sarah Bechstein, Anton Komonov and Florian Semler founded Formel Skin in Berlin in 2019. So far, Formel Skin is only present in Germany and Switzerland. The Berlin-based startup operates a digital platform for the remote treatment of skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and melasma. For this, customers have to fill out a questionnaire and send in three photos of their skin. The start-up's dermatologists then put together an individual prescription, which is sent by subscription for €49 per month. The doctor assigned to the patient accompanies him throughout the treatment, performs check-ups and adjusts the medication according to individual needs.
