Hawk AI and Diebold Nixdorf agree on partnership

The German start-up's anti-money laundering and anti-fraud software will now also be distributed by the US software company.

Munich-based start-up Hawk AI today announced a partnership with US-based Diebold Nixdorf. Hawk AI operates a software platform for banks, payment service providers and fintechs to combat money laundering and fraud. Diebold Nixdorf, in turn, is a provider of connected commerce, focusing on automating, digitizing and shaping daily user interactions in banking and retail.

Both companies now want to jointly distribute Hawk AI's software .The partnership initially exists for the DACH region.

"We observe that more and more financial institutions use modern technologies like those of Hawk AI," says Tobias Schweiger, co-founder and CEO of Hawk AI. However, implementing new systems can always be a barrier, he added. "That's why, through our partnership with Diebold Nixdorf, and with their distinctive expertise and hands-on consulting services, we're excited to work together to bring about change even faster and more securely in the future."

Schweiger co-founded Hawk AI with Wolfgang Berner in Munich in 2018, and in June 2021, Hawk AI closed a Series A financing of ten million US dollars.
