Hepster cooperates with Bikefinder

The start-ups' solutions complement each other well: Bikefinder's tracking device can locate bikes, while Hepster insures the bike and is liable in the event of theft.

Rostock-based insurance start-up Hepster has entered into a cooperation with Bikefinder. The Scandinavian company chose Hepster as its exclusive insurance partner when it entered the German and Austrian markets.

Bikefinder offers a tracking device with a long battery life that can be integrated into bicycles. Bike owners can attach the device to their bikes by paying a monthly subscription. As an option, the tracking system can also be combined with theft protection. Bikefinder works together with insurance providers in the existing markets in Scandinavia, Spain and Great Britain. For Germany and Austria, Hepster now takes over the insurance coverage and is liable in case of damage. Founded in 2016, the insurtech offers solutions tailored to individual needs in the areas of mobility, electronics, equipment, travel, pet and accident insurance.
