Is Wefox the next unicorn?

Time and again, there have been rumors of a new round of funding for Wefox. Now, evidence is mounting that the startup has reportedly closed a $500 million round, valuing it at over two billion dollars.
$500 million Wefox reportedly ended up raising in its Series C funding round, according to reports Finance Forward. There has been much speculation about Wefox's current funding in recent months, though nothing confirmed by the insurtech. The funding is expected to be announced soon, and the investors are unknown. The round brings Wefox's valuation to over two billion dollars.
Since its founding in 2014, the insurtech has continued to expand its offerings: At its core is the platform through which customers can bundle their insurance policies. In 2017, it added the sale of its own insurance policies through subsidiary One Insurance, which rebranded as Wefox Insurance in March and is already profitable.
