The start-up is active in the field of logistics. Maschmeyer probably invests a total of 6.5 million euros via a fund.

Carsten Maschmeyer has apparently put 6.5 million euros into the start-up Anlca via his venture capital fund. This was reported by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . The Wetzlar-based company specializes in logistics and has raised a total of 15 million euros from investors in this financing round. Maschmeyer is apparently the most prominent head among them.

The start-up does logistics for smaller stores and appears publicly under the names Packangels and Logsta. For these, the start-up stores, packs and ships parcels that they have sold via their online store, for example. This means that the stores can outsource their logistics and do not have to worry about getting the large number of parcels to their customers themselves. Just a few weeks ago, Ancla merged with Logsta, resulting in the current company.

Logsta was founded in 2017, Ancla already in 2006. According to its own information, the start-up is currently represented in five countries, has more than 1,000 customers and most recently sent around four million parcel shipments. Ancla is said to have 600 employees.
