HIGHEST and FUTURY Launch the Second Phase of Their Company Builder with 450,000 Euros in Private Capital
The HIGHEST & FUTURY Company Builder is entering its second round, with a primary focus on one thing: private early-stage capital for science-based spin-offs. A total of 450,000 euros from private investors is available to support deep-tech startups on their path to securing their first round of institutional funding.
The program is aimed at technology-oriented founding teams and, over the course of six months, guides up to ten startups toward investment readiness.
Private Investors Bridge the Funding Gap
Especially in the early stages, many science-based spin-offs fail not because of their technology, but due to a lack of access to private capital. This is exactly where the Company Builder comes in.
After three months, up to ten teams can receive an investment ticket of up to 50,000 euros. The capital comes from, among others, HEAG Holding AG, Norbert Baumann – MiL Holding GmbH, and other private and institutional investors, including entrepreneurs with successful exits.
In addition, each team receives a mentoring budget of 5,000 euros to further develop its business model, market strategy, and investor pitch in a targeted manner.
Venture Capital Involved from the Start
In addition to private seed capital, the program focuses on establishing early contact with institutional investors. Even during the company builder phase, venture capital firms such as BMH, Earlybird, D11Z, FUTURY Capital, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), First Momentum Ventures, STS Ventures, TT49, and U2V support the participating teams.
Upon completion of the program, the startups receive qualified investor meetings and personal warm introductions to selected venture capital funds. In addition, the participating investors can independently award further rounds of funding.
A Bridge Between Research and Private Capital
With the Company Builder, HIGHEST and FUTURY aim to accelerate technology transfer from universities and turn scientific innovations into marketable companies more quickly.
Startups launched through the program to date include Inflabi, Modulux3D, Zenaris, MimoSense, Borionics, Aperio Space, Dentero, SustainCore, Hydro-Skin, and WeLearn.
The focus of the program’s second phase is therefore not only on coaching and venture building, but above all on attracting private capital at an early stage.
