The venture capital company has raised 190 million euros for its new fund. Early-stage tech start-ups in the B2B sector will benefit from the funds.

Nauta Capital has completed the financing of its fifth fund. The venture capital firm has raised 190 million euros from strategic investors and family offices from Europe, Asia and America. The partners also include KfW Capital and the European investment fund ICO. 120 million euros had already been raised at the first close last year. Nauta Capital had originally set itself a target of 150 million euros.

Nauta Capital has already used the money from the new fund to invest in eleven start-ups in Europe. Among the companies supported is the Munich-based insurtech InsureQ, which offers insurance for freelancers, start-ups and small businesses. A total of 35 start-ups are to receive money. Nauta Capital is also planning 16 further smaller investments of between 100,000 and 250,000 pounds.

Nauta Capital operates in Berlin, London and Barcelona and invests in start-ups in the pre-seed and Series A phase. The company focuses in particular on software and tech start-ups in the B2B sector. The investments are usually between 1 million and 5 million euros.
