The venture capital firm has raised 190 million euros for its new fund. The funds will benefit early-stage tech start-ups in the B2B sector.

Nauta Capital has completed the financing of its fifth fund. The venture capitalist has raised 190 million euros from strategic investors and family offices from Europe, Asia and America. The partners also include KfW Capital and the European Investment Fund ICO. At the first close last year, 120 million euros had already been raised. Nauta Capital had originally set itself a target of 150 million euros.

With the money from the new fund, Nauta Capital has already invested in eleven start-ups in Europe. Among the funded companies is Munich-based Insurtech InsureQ, which offers insurance for freelancers, startups and small businesses. In total, 35 startups are to receive money. Nauta Capital also plans to make 16 other smaller investments of between £100,000 and £250,000.

Nauta Capital operates in Berlin, London and Barcelona and invests in pre-seed and Series A stage startups. The company focuses particularly on software and tech start-ups in the B2B sector. The investments are mostly between 1 million and 5 million euros.
