In the past two years, travel has been severely restricted by the Corona pandemic. With the new investment, the travel app now wants to take off.

The start-up Lambus wants to bundle all travel planning in one app. Users will be able to plan and book their entire vacation and share their travel photos with friends. Now NBank Capital is taking a stake in the Osnabrück-based company. The investment subsidiary of NBank, the investment and development bank of Lower Saxony, is supporting the start-up with a six-figure sum. The exact sum is not known.

The investment in Lambus is to be used to expand staff in the areas of development, marketing and sales. The start-up also wants to further expand its B2B business.Anja Niehoff and Hans Knöchel founded the travel start-up in 2018. The planning app generates revenue via a paid pro version with advanced features. In addition, the start-up receives commissions from other providers when travel or services are booked via the Lambus platform. The company claims to have partnerships with providers such as Deutsche Bahn and Airbnb.
