Prologistik Group takes over TM3

The Regensburg-based SaaS company is thus the sixth company in the group.
Prologistik Group acquires the Regensburg-based company TM3. The financial details of the deal are not known. The takeover is part of a mergers & acquisitions strategy through which Prologisitk aims to expand its market position, particularly in the DACH region. The group also wants to expand its portfolio specifically in the direction of e-commerce and fulfillment.
TM3 was founded in 2008 as a spin-off from the University of Regensburg and offers a software solution for warehouse logistics. Target groups are in particular medium-sized retail companies, fulfillment providers and online retailers. Jörg Sänger is CEO of Prologistik-Group and sees TM3's solution as a meaningful extension of the group's offering to provide its customers with the broadest possible digitization of logistics.
"With TM3, we have a new, weighty partner at our side, with whom we are also further strengthening our competencies in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data, automation and e-commerce within the pL Group," says Sänger. The Regensburg-based start-up will remain as an independent company. After Dataphone, IT Consult, Henrik Ernst, Logisoft-S, and Xelog, TM3 is the sixth part of the Prologistik Group.
