Qonto launches financing platform

In future, Qonto will help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with special financing options. The first partners, Banxware, Defacto and Silvr, will offer their financing options directly through the Qonto platform.
Qonto, a European financing solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the self-employed, has announced the launch of a new financing platform. This platform is designed to help German customers invest in suitable financing offers for their business growth. The platform will provide customers with seamless access to offers from various partners who offer their financing products directly.
The launch of our financing platform will enable us to offer our customers financing products that are tailored to their specific financial needs.
Lukas Zörner, VP Germany Qonto
Banxware, Defacto and Silvr are the first partners on board for the launch of the platform. With this expansion of the offering, the company aims to cover all the financial needs of German SMEs as an all-in-one solution.
Banxware offers short-term and turnover-based financing with amounts ranging from 1,000 to 250,000 euros. The repayment period varies between 3 and 12 months, while interest rates depend on a one-off fixed fee of 3% to 13%, depending on the term.
Defacto, on the other hand, enables short-term financing in the range of 500 to 1 million euros with repayment periods of 1 to 4 months and an interest rate of 0.05% daily interest rate.
Silvr offers revenue-based financing of between 10,000 and 20 million euros, with repayment terms of 1 to 12 months and interest rates in the form of a fixed fee of 1% to 12% of the amount financed.
Through customer approval, partners are given secure access to the relevant account and financial data of Qonto customers to ensure a seamless financing process and process applications directly. Once an application is approved, the financing is credited to the account. Customers thus gain access to financing offers to drive their growth with a smooth process and without bureaucratic hurdles.
The partnership with Qonto brings us one step closer to our mission: to make business financing more accessible. This is especially important now, when so many SMEs are struggling with financial difficulties.
Nima Karimi, Co-Founder and CEO Silvr
The platform simplifies the daily financial business of 350,000 companies, automates bookkeeping, facilitates invoice management and enables easy management of expenses via an online app. The company is active in four countries (Germany, France, Spain and Italy) and currently employs 1,000 people. Qonto has received a total of 622 million euros from various investors, including Valar, Alven, the European Investment Bank, Tencent, DST Global, Tiger Global, TCV, Alkeon, Eurazeo, KKR, Insight Partners, Exor and Gaingels.
