Scanbot SDK gains new CFO

Dag Jessel is to drive the company's growth. Previously, the manager worked for Lufthansa, among others.

Scanbot SDK GmbH appoints Dag Jessel as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With more than ten years of experience as a private equity CFO and managing director, Jessel now strengthens the software company's management team. He will support Scanbot SDK in the areas of finance, operations and leadership.

Prior to his position at Scanbot SDK, Jessel was Managing Director and CFO at Nox NachtExpress, a B2B logistics company specializing in overnight transportation of time-sensitive goods. Prior to that, he held senior positions in engineering, operations and mergers and acquisitions at Lufthansa, among others, before becoming director of finance and human resources for North Asia.

Scanbot SDK marks Jessel's first entry into the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry. "The company won me over with its vision to help consumers and employees digitize real-world information and make data capture as easy, accurate and fast as possible," Jessel says. He would look forward to the new challenge.
