Secfix raises six-figure sum

Founded in 2020, now there is the first investment: The Berliners raise money in their pre-seed financing round shortly after the launch of their product.

ISO 27001 - for many a company, a term that initially involves a lot of effort. For certification, they go through a long process, which the start-up Secfix wants to simplify, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Now the Berliners are raising a six-figure sum in their pre-seed financing round. Backers are well-known investors such as hotel.de founder Torsten Sturm, i-Welt CEO Sarah Wolff, Andrea Lederer, who is in the management of Expedia, as well as Heinz Raufer and Reinhard Wick, who have invested at Flixbus, among others.

Secfix plans to use the money to develop a software solution to automate the process for ISO 27001 certification, as well as expand its existing offering of an ethical hacking marketplace through which verified ethical hacking companies can be found. Secfix, founded in 2020, is also looking to expand the team around founders Fabiola Munguia and Grigory Emelianov. Gradually, other certifications will be added for Secfix's customers to offer a holistic security monitoring platform for SMBs. The Berlin-based company promises that with their help, ISO 27001 certification will be a matter of weeks instead of months.
