Stuttgart start-ups join forces for AI solutions

AI meets retail. Knowledge Hero and Blockbrain shape the future of learning.

Stuttgart, December 12, 2024 - Two Stuttgart-based startups, Knowledge Hero and Blockbrain, are joining forces to drive the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into learning solutions. Knowledge Hero, provider of the world's only learning solution for PLU numbers in supermarkets, wants to further improve its easyPLU® product through the cooperation and expand both customer support and the functionality of its learning platform.

Innovative partnership for sustainable solutions

By working with Blockbrain, a start-up for AI-supported knowledge management, Knowledge Hero aims to increase the efficiency of its applications. The aim is to improve the customer experience of learners and create new ways of analyzing large amounts of data. At the same time, a digital twin is to be developed that centrally records knowledge and processes and thus replaces fragmented solutions in everyday working life.

Regional strength through collaboration

Both start-ups emphasize the importance of regional cooperation. "Blockbrain is pursuing a great product vision in terms of knowledge management, and the joint location in Stuttgart is a double win for us," says Sailer. Antonius Gress, co-founder of Blockbrain, also sees great potential: "Our knowledge bots in easyPLU® set new standards for effective learning and strengthen competitiveness in the retail sector."

For the retail sector

Knowledge Hero offers easyPLU®, a learning solution that is already used in 28 countries and by 210,000 users. The aim is to reduce inventory losses through targeted training and measurably increase the level of knowledge in companies. Blockbrain, founded in 2022, brings its expertise in AI-supported process optimization and knowledge management to the partnership. Particular attention is paid to secure data processing and ethical AI use. With the cooperation, the two companies want to actively shape the future of learning technologies and combine their respective strengths to create innovative solutions for the retail sector and beyond.
