Industrial engineer and former competitive athlete Tino Mittelmeier is now managing the business of the sports start-up together with founder Markos Aristides Kern.

Lymb.io has a new co-head. Tino Mittelmeier is now managing the start-up together with Markos Aristides Kern. "I look forward to continuing to drive the company's success on its important and meaningful journey - making sport, health and fitness more fun for everyone," says 37-year-old Mittelmeier on joining Lymb.io.

Most recently, Mittelmeier was CFO for the website analysis tool Ryte. He has also worked for Little Bird, the Porsche Consulting Group and Siemens and has already advised several start-ups. He was also part of the German national sailing team from 2001 to 2008. He was German champion three times.

Lymb.io was founded in Munich in 2016 under the name "Fun with balls". The start-up was initially only active in the B2B sector and offered interactive play walls for sports facilities, schools, hotels and shopping centers. The market has collapsed due to the pandemic. That is why Lymb.io now wants to grow with end consumers and will be offering its game console to everyone from November.
