Upvest and Ginmon cooperate

The Berlin-based fintech and the digital asset manager are working together to develop new ETF-based investment opportunities, among other things.

The digital asset manager Ginmon is relying on the Berlin-based fintech Upvest to develop a new customer platform. The Frankfurt-based company wants to give its end customers access to a wide range of ETF-based investment opportunities.

Ginmon was founded in 2014 and offers private customers in Germany long-term investment opportunities, for example for retirement provision. At the same time, it has developed a white-label solution for fintechs and established companies that want to offer wealth management solutions to their customers in the EU. Upvest, founded by Martin Kassing in 2017, aims to enable other fintechs to provide their end customers with access to the full range of investment opportunities. To this end, the start-up has developed an investment interface. The fintech was able to raise 42 million US dollars for its idea in the summer.

"In view of persistently low interest rates, rising inflation and a widening pension gap, we see that demand for attractive investment opportunities such as ETFs will continue to grow," says Lars Reiner, CEO of Ginmon. By collaborating with Upvest, the company has now developed a scalable platform for long-term investment opportunities.
