Greentech Zolar has been able to increase its already ongoing funding round by ten million euros. Ahe new investment is led by Energy Impact Partners.

Zolar had already secured 25 million euros in its Series B funding round, and now it is adding another ten million euros, the startup announced. The new investment is led by Energy Impact Partners, a large investor in the energy sector with teams in the US and Europe, and whose managing partner Matthias Dill acts. The existing investors will all remain on board.

Zolar is a greentech startup offering fixed-price photovoltaic systems that homeowners can design, compare and contract online. To do this, the startup works with local partner companies that handle on-site installation. "The solar industry has proven to be very resilient during the Covid 19 pandemic. We were able to strongly increase our sales last year and are aiming to triple our nationwide installations in 2021," says Alex Melzer, CEO and co-founder of Zolar.
