12.5 million euros for Unstoppable Finance

US investor Lightspeed Venture Partners leads the financing round.
Unstoppable Finance has successfully closed its Series A financing round, raising a total of €12.5 million. US investor Lightspeed Venture Partners joins as the lead investor. The US fund became known in Germany because, among other things, it holds a stake in Munich-based HR software company Personio. Existing backers such as Discovery Ventures, Rockaway Blockchain Fund and Speedinvest have also participated. "The deal was signed in early July and follows the €4.5 million seed round closed in October 2021," the company said.
The funds will be used to launch the Ultimate cryptocurrency app. Despite the gloomy outlook for cryptocurrency markets, 300,000 customers have signed up for Ultimate's waiting list, according to the company. A global launch is planned for this year, and testing is expected to begin immediately. The team currently consists of 25 members.
