The Berlin-based start-up receives money from investors and can thus close its seed financing round.

In a seed funding round, healthcare startup Nilo Health has raised €7.5 million. Investors include Profounders Capital, Vorwerk Ventures and Atlantic Labs. With telemedicine consultations for companies, the company specializes in mental health. The start-up wants to offer companies a digital platform for strengthening the psyche of employees. Through it, people can arrange video consultations with psychotherapists, for example.

Ines Räth, Jonas Keil and Catalina Turlea founded the start-up in 2020 in Berlin. Nilo Health says it adapts to users' needs and consists of video consultations with psychotherapists or psychologists for individual employees or group sessions. Since, according to the psychoreport of the health insurance company DAK, the increase in days of absence due to mental illness has risen by 41% from 2011 to 2021, more and more start-ups dealing with mental health have been founded in recent years.

Despite the competitive market, founder Ines Räth sees a difference compared to other mental health startups: "We offer employees a holistic platform to work on their mental health." In 25 languages, Nilo Health works with psychotherapists on all continents and thus aims to support companies with offices in different time zones.
