The start-up Aaron.ai receives 3.5 million euros from Bonventure, IBB Ventures and Futury Capital. The AI health tech will now use the money to refine its product. The German Federal Ministry of Health and Berlin's Charité hospital, among others, use the company's artificial intelligence, called Aaron, to process coronavirus-related inquiries.
Aaron.ai was founded in Berlin in 2015 by Tobias Wagenführer, Richard von Schaewen and Iwan Lappo-Danilewski. "Thousands of emergency calls to doctors' surgeries still go unanswered every day. With Aaron, we will put an end to this not only in Germany, but throughout Europe. That's why we are delighted to have investors who not only value growth but also impact just as much as we do," says CEO Wagenführer.
