Elevator Heroes wins strategic partner

Construction company Goldbeck invests in the Berlin start-up. Aufzugshelden aims to reduce repair and maintenance costs for elevators.
The Bielefeld-based construction and real estate company Goldbeck has invested in the proptech start-up Aufzugshelden. Goldbeck is investing a seven-figure sum and will receive ten percent of the shares, reports the Wirtschaftswoche. "We are very pleased about the financing round and the trust placed in us," said Simon Vestner, founder and CEO of Aufzugshelden, in a statement. "Our technology is already unique. The partnership enables us to realize our vision even faster." The aim of the partnership is to develop Aufzughelden into the leading solution for digital elevator and building management and to manage properties more sustainably.
Aufzugshelden uses its software to collect data directly at the elevator control unit. "This increases the availability of your elevator, reduces its costs and makes the building "digitally ready" at the same time," writes Aufzugshelden on its website. The Berlin-based start-up promises a 15 percent reduction in maintenance costs.
"The cooperation with Aufzughelden gives us access to technological innovations that are highly relevant for the building operation of the future," says Fabian Lenz, Head of Innovation at Goldbeck. "As a result, we can not only increase comfort for the users of our buildings, but also increase efficiency and thus save resources."
Aufzugshelden now wants to expand and develop its offering. In the long term, the start-up wants to link elevator data with other building data and thus reduce maintenance and repair costs in the long term.
