Bayern Kapital invests in Ryte

The Munich-based company now wants to use the money to expand into the USA and the UK.
The Munich-based SaaS start-up Ryte receives two million euros from Bayern Kapital, the VC arm of the Free State of Bavaria. This brings the total funding in its Series A round to 8.5 million euros. In addition to Bayern Kapital, the VCs Octopus Investments, Senovo, PDV Inter-Media, Surplus Invest and the business angels Jürgen and Rolf Dienst are also involved.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to be part of the growth story of a young local company that enjoys such a good reputation for outstanding product quality in the fast-growing area of website quality management and user experience," said Roman Huber, Managing Director at Bayern Kapital, in view of the closing.
Founded as Onpage.org, Ryte has been under the management of Andreas Bruckschlögl and James Bagan since the end of 2020. The company's software helps website operators to identify and fix programming errors, SEO stumbling blocks and data protection issues on their website. Users include BMW, Allianz and Sixt. With the money from the Series A round, the Bavarians now want to focus primarily on the British and US markets.
