Application phase for CivTech Alliance Global Scale-up Program extended

Sustainable scale-ups can still apply for the international innovation program until 09.08.2021. The aim of the program is to further develop scale-ups with sustainable solutions to overcome the climate crisis. At the end of the program, the solutions will be presented at the climate summit in Glasgow in November 2021.

Floods in NRW, fires and heatwaves across southern Europe - the effects of the climate crisis are becoming ever more real and visible. We have known for a long time that things can't go on like this, but we need sustainable concepts that can be built on and used to initiate change.

To this end, eleven governments and institutions from a total of 10 countries have now joined forces to offer a program in the run-up to and during the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) this November in Glasgow, in which mature start-ups (scale-ups) will jointly tackle the climate crisis with the support of the CivTech Alliance Global Scale-up Program .

All scale-ups from the environment, food and transport sectors that offer solutions to overcome the climate crisis with their ideas can apply.

Within the program, the scale-ups go through an innovation process in which they gain insights into the international innovation ecosystem and establish contacts with key decision-makers, in addition to numerous networking opportunities. In addition, the participating scale-ups will have the opportunity to present their advanced solutions at the UN Climate Conference as part of a demo day.
