The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Auxmoney will initially start as a member of the Management Board at Solaris. From May, Höltkemeyer will then take over the management of the fintech.

First, the start-up changed its name from Solarisbank to Solaris, now comes a change in the management: At the end of April 2023, the current CEO Roland Folz will leave the company. His successor Carsten Höltkemeyer will start as a member of the board of directors at the fintech on November 1 of this year and will then take over as CEO.

"As a proven industry expert with extensive experience in working with major international clients, Carsten was the preferred candidate for the position of Solaris' future CEO," says Solaris Supervisory Board Chairman Ramin Niroumand. Carsten Höltkemeyer was previously Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Auxmoney, where he will continue to serve as a full member. Previously, he worked in various managerial positions in the banking sector. At Nets Group he was head of finance and at Barclaycard he was responsible for the German market. He also worked for Concardis and Commerzbank.

"Together we will expand our position in the market and increase value creation for all our partners," says Höltkemeyer. Currently, Solaris is in a state of transition: the company recently expanded into additional countries and acquired Contis. Solaris also won new partnerships with ADAC and Paycell. The new managing director is now expected to further drive the growth of the embedded finance company.
