The tech start-up gains a new investor. Kollex is a joint venture with well-known investors.

Chefs Culinar, a food service wholesaler from Kiel, becomes an equal shareholder in Kollex. This makes the company the fifth partner in the joint venture alongside the founding shareholders Bitburger Braugruppe, Coca-Cola European Partners Deutschland and Krombacher Brauerei, as well as Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien, which has been involved since 2020.

"By joining Kollex as a new shareholder, we can contribute our expertise as a food service company for the restaurant and hotel industry to the strategic development and innovation of Kollex," says Dirk Lütje, Managing Director of Chefs Culinar. "The trend towards the digitalization of ordering processes has once again increased massively, especially in the past year. Our aim is to play a key role in shaping this digitalization as another partner in the German out-of-home market."

Kollex offers an ordering platform for restaurateurs. The start-up started in 2019 and has more than 5,000 customers. Kollex offers an app and a webshop. From 2022, the entire Chefs Culinar range is to be offered on the platform.
