The deep-tech start-up Qdrant has secured 2 million euros in an early financing round. This was led by the European funds 42CAP and IBB Ventures.
Founded in 2021, the company specializes in the processing of unstructured data. Applied AI solutions and metric learning are to be driven forward with a neural search technology. Potential customers are companies that use or offer AI-based solutions. Possible applications range from product recommendations in e-commerce to image recognition and anomaly analysis.
Both investors have a strong track record of supporting young deep tech start-ups, according to the company. "We are delighted with the trust and capital shown by the investors. With their help, we will succeed in making metric learning actually practicable," says co-founder Andrey Vasnetsov.
