The new platform serves 2,000 manufacturers and 300 online shops in 25 countries. Together they want to expand internationally.

The two SaaS platforms DemoUp and Cliplister have merged. The new company is called DemoUp Cliplister and bundles more than 300 connected online shops, including Otto for example, 2,000 manufacturers such as Microsoft, Philips and Bosch. Together, the two are active in more than 25 countries, with a focus on Europe. DemoUp Cliplister is now looking to expand further. "With DemoUp and Cliplister, two very complementary providers are now merging to dominate the European market," says investor Björn Jopen, co-founder of Cleverlyx. "Relying on technological trends like 3D and augmented reality, in which tech corporations like Apple and Amazon are currently investing massively, will further accelerate growth."

DemoUp Cliplister offers merchants content adapted to online shops, for example product videos, 3D animations of products or an automatic adjustment of the image size so that the loading time does not become too long. "Online customers want as authentic a presentation of a product as possible in order to make an informed purchase decision. Making e-commerce more experiential is a huge opportunity for retailers and manufacturers," says Nader El Ali, CEO of DemoUp Cliplister. The startup is investing heavily in expanding its AI technologies and, due to high demand, is expanding its pool of professional influencers for exclusive product reviews.

DemoUp was founded in 2014, Cliplister in 2007. 100 people work for DemoUp Cliplister in Berlin and Kiel. In addition to Jopen, investors include Fabian Bohne, a member of the European Angel Fund, Rheingau Ventures from Berlin, the Heilbronn-based seed fund Born2grow and Mountain Partners from St. Gallen.
