The new platform supports 2,000 manufacturers and 300 online stores in 25 countries. Together they want to expand internationally.

The two SaaS platforms DemoUp and Cliplister have merged. The new company is called DemoUp Cliplister and bundles more than 300 connected online stores, including Otto, 2,000 manufacturers such as Microsoft, Philips and Bosch. Together, the two companies are active in more than 25 countries, mainly in Europe. DemoUp Cliplister now wants to expand further. "With DemoUp and Cliplister, two very complementary providers are now merging to dominate the European market," says investor Björn Jopen, co-founder of Cleverlyx. "The focus on technological trends such as 3D and augmented reality, in which tech companies such as Apple and Amazon are currently investing heavily, will further accelerate growth."

DemoUp Cliplister offers retailers content adapted to online stores, for example product videos, 3D animations of products or automatic adjustment of the image size so that the loading time is not too long. "Online customers want a product to be presented as authentically as possible so that they can make an informed purchase decision. Making e-commerce even more tangible is a great opportunity for retailers and manufacturers," says Nader El Ali, Managing Director of DemoUp Cliplister. The start-up is investing heavily in the expansion of its AI technologies and is expanding its pool of professional influencers for exclusive product reviews due to high demand.

DemoUp was founded in 2014, Cliplister in 2007. Around 100 people work for DemoUp Cliplister in Berlin and Kiel. In addition to Jopen, investors include Fabian Bohne, a member of the European Angel Fund, Rheingau Ventures from Berlin, the Heilbronn-based seed fund Born2grow and Mountain Partners from St. Gallen.
