M-Tribes can successfully close its seed funding round. The value of the start-up increases to ten million euros.

Hamburg-based start-up M-Tribes has successfully completed its seed funding. The investment was led by Hamburg's "digital pope" and founder of digital agency SinnerSchrader, Matthias Schrader. As a result, the start-up is now said to be worth ten million euros. Previously, the start-up was self-financed.

M-Tribes offers a platform that helps transport companies worldwide to build mobility, sharing and delivery services. Customers include corporations such as BMW and EWE, small and medium-sized transport companies such as Kurier24, as well as international startups such as VanOnGo.

The founders see advantages on two levels. "On the one hand, we have become technically scalable. That is, we can generate all the technology a transportation company needs to operate fully automatically at the push of a button," says Patrick Arle, founder and CEO of M-Tribes. "On the other hand, Covid-19 has created a real boom in areas of delivery services as well as a renaissance of personal mobility." The startup plans to use the funding to expand its platform.
