Dominik Steinkühler is a new partner at Vorwerk Ventures

The Lendico founder joins the venture capitalist from November 1st.

Dominik Steinkühler joins Vorwerk Ventures, a venture capitalist founded in 2007, as a partner on November 1st. In August, Sascha Günter was appointed Partner and Holger Witte Managing Partner. "Dominik will be a great help in fulfilling our mission to be one of the leading VCs for consumer tech in Europe," says Managing Partner Norbert Muschong, explaining the goals behind the personnel offensive.

Previously, Steinkühler founded the lending platform Lendico, worked as Divisional Board Member for Digital Transformation at Commerzbank and has been Chief Financial Officer at Insurtech Friday since 2021. "From my own entrepreneurial experience, I know that the external glow can sometimes feel different from the inside," says Steinkühler. "I look forward to accompanying founders on this journey in the future."

Vorwerk Ventures is a VC based in Berlin. According to its own statements, it focuses on disruptive product and service ideas that are intended to improve the everyday lives of many people. The company's exit list includes Flaschenpost and Hellofresh. The current portfolio includes Everdrop, Rebike and Planted.
