Learn how proptech company DoorFeed is increasing its focus on institutionalizing investments in European residential real estate with €12 million in seed funding.
London - DoorFeed, a proptech company led by entrepreneur James Kirimy, recently secured €12 million in seed funding. This step was made possible by investors such as Motive Ventures, Stride and Seedcamp in order to establish DoorFeed as a partner for institutional investors in the residential real estate market.
Goal: Professionalization of the residential real estate market
The investment takes place against the backdrop of price adjustments on the real estate market, high tenant demand and a limited supply of rental apartments. DoorFeed aims to support institutional investors by creating and managing customized portfolios of apartments, houses and buildings. Their focus is on assisting investors who wish to redirect their capital into the residential real estate market.

Expansion plans
DoorFeed plans to expand its presence in Europe, particularly in Spain, Germany and the UK. After supporting the first French private equity fund specializing in single-family homes, the company aims to improve its platform and expand further in Europe.
