e-mobilio secures €9.5 million in Series A round led by SET Ventures. The start-up makes it easier for drivers to switch to electric mobility.

Start-up e-mobilio recently successfully closed a Series-A financing round of 9.5 million euros. The lead investor in this round is SET Ventures, an experienced energy venture capital investor in Europe. Existing investors such as Übermorgen Ventures, Wi Venture, seed+speed Ventures and Gateway Ventures also participated in this round. In addition, the family office two.7 could be won as a new investor.

The market for electric mobility has now reached a new phase - while the market was initially characterized by the so-called 'early adopters', the offering is now ready for the broad mass market.

Dr. Till Stenzel, Partner SET Ventures

e-mobilio, founded by Ralph Missy and Denis Reichel, offers a cloud-based consulting solution for electromobility. Their goal is to make it easier for drivers to switch to electromobility. The platform acts as a one-stop store and has already attracted over 350 car dealer groups, car manufacturers such as Toyota and insurance companies such as HUK-Coburg as customers. These use e-mobilio's e-purchase advisor as a white-label solution to provide their customers with a comprehensive electromobility offering.

SET Ventures is an experienced investor in the field of electromobility and has in the past invested in companies such as Epyon and Greenflux, which were later acquired by ABB and DKV respectively.

Companies that are able to provide holistic advice on the electromobility ecosystem and offer it to their customers in line with their needs not only create unique customer value and increase customer loyalty, but also secure valuable additional revenues across all components of the electromobility ecosystem.

Ralph Missy, Co-Founder e-mobilio

The transformation to electromobility is fundamentally changing the car buying process. Customers today need a comprehensive ecosystem that goes beyond the electric car. e-mobilio offers e-car buyers a total solution that includes charging technology, installation, public charging, photovoltaics, electricity tariffs, environmental performance, government subsidies and much more.

e-mobilio has built a strong market position in Germany and is now planning to expand into Austria and other European markets. The fresh funds from the Series A financing round will be used to drive international growth and address the challenges of needs-based consulting and optimal customer fulfillment to accelerate time to market.

Both together will lead to a seamless customer journey and thus an accelerated market ramp-up.

Denis Reichel, Co-Founder e-mobilio

It was only in the summer of 2022 that we reported on Startbase about a successful investment round of the startup. At the time, nothing was disclosed about the amount of the round.

SET Ventures, based in Amsterdam, has been investing in digital technologies aimed at a CO2-free energy system since 2007. They support founders with capital, contacts and know-how to drive the transformation of energy generation, distribution, storage and consumption in various sectors.
