Emocean gets Chinese investor

The new partners have paid a six-figure sum for the strategic partnership and also want to use the start-up's platform themselves.

The Chinese automation and precision systems specialist Justech Precision Industry is investing a six-figure sum in the Unterhaching-based start-up Emocean. The Chinese company will be the first to use Emocean's platform in productive operation. According to their own statements, they want to work together on "Smart Manufacturing" for the global automation market. "By positioning Indigo as the runtime platform for cutting-edge manufacturing and automation systems with a strong player like Justech, we can showcase our capabilities to a global market very quickly," said Philipp Kirschenhofer, founder of Emocean.

Emocean was spun out of VC Stratos Ventures last year. The start-up is a software and solution provider for digitalization and automation. It focuses on data exchange for the industrial future in the manufacturing sector, in the development of complex mechatronic systems and the control of energy networks. "Together with Emocean, we will create the true smart factory of the future and together we will achieve our goal of helping Industry 4.0 make a breakthrough," says Yuxiang Jing, founder of Justech Precision Industry.
