ENTER closes Series A with 19.4 million euros

baupal has closed its financing round with 19.4 million euros and is renaming itself ENTER with immediate effect.

Climate tech startup ENTER has closed a Series A funding round in a short period of time, having already gone through a seed funding round at the end of 2022. Investors such as COATUE, Foundamental, Target Global, A/O Proptech and Partech participated in ENTER with a total of 19.4 million euros. The company plans to use the capital to become Europe's leading provider of energy refurbishment services.

The company offers homeowners an easier and faster way to renovate their property for energy efficiency. Through a digital query, customers can get an assessment of the condition of their property within minutes and learn how much can be saved through various renovation steps. ENTER then draws up an individual renovation plan and takes care of the appropriate subsidy applications. In this way, the measures can be optimized and implemented cost-effectively, benefiting both the environment and the customer.

According to surveys, 75 percent of homeowners fear they will not be able to afford an energy retrofit. With an on-site analysis and a virtual consultation, customers can understand the energy status of their property and make all the relevant decisions for a CO2-neutral home. ENTER also assists with financing by planning the appropriate measures of an optimal sequence with maximum funding.

The business model, especially in the current news environment of the new rules for heating and renovation, was able to convince the investors.
