Finleap Connect and C Ventures launch regulation start-up

42Stages is the name of the latest company to emerge from the Finleap Connect start-up stable. The Frankfurt-based company is co-founded by venture capitalist C Ventures and is dedicated to regulatory requirements in the financial industry, among other things.
The Berlin-based Fintech Finleap Connect and the venture capitalist C Ventures have founded a company: 42Stages is dedicated to regulatory requirements and helps with the implementation as well as the interlocking of regulatory requirements. The company, which operates as a SaaS provider, is headed by Patrick Giesen, who previously held the position of Head of Business Unit Risk Management at Finleap Connect.
"Our vision is to use combinations of innovative and modern technologies as well as outstanding professional expertise to leverage potential for our clients that is currently untapped," Giesen said of his new role.
After a year in the making, 42Stages has spun out of startup Finleap, but remains connected to Finleap's ecosystem. "Finleap connect stands for thinking things in a new way. That's why we are always able and willing to break new ground digitally and entrepreneurially. With 42Stages, we are bringing together a strong and experienced partner with a product that embodies these values and offers companies completely new opportunities and approaches to risk management," says finleap connect CCO Andreas Reuß.
42Stages already has a first product on the market: "Backstage" is dedicated to operational risk functions such as information security and business continuity management. The approach was developed by former employees of KPMG, and the positive response from customers gave rise to the idea of founding a separate company just for the product.
