FINLIUM raises more than €550000

Berlin, April 16, 2024 - Berlin-based fintech startup FINLIUM has secured over 550,000 euros in investment in its second angel round. Investors include prominent figures such as Entrepreneur of the Year Katrin Stark, long-time bank manager Michael Bonacker and Annerton co-founder Frank Müller.
The company has developed an investment fund that is regarded as the first "stable return" fund and is also accessible to private investors. Within 14 months, FINLIUM was able to convince more than 2,000 customers and increase the fund's investment volume from 1 million to over 17 million euros.
Only 17.6 percent of Germans currently invest in equity markets, which is due to the perception of the markets as too volatile and risky. FINLIUM aims to reach these people by offering stable investment products that allow them to build up their wealth in a relaxed manner.
"stable return" funds
FINLIUM has been offering its first product since November 2022: a "stable return" fund for private investors. This fund uses a specially developed investment technology that manages the fund almost autonomously. In its first year, the fund achieved a return of around 8% per year with significantly reduced risk.
The founders of FINLIUM plan to use the new capital to launch various product innovations on the market, improve their content marketing and introduce an institutional B2B tranche of the fund. The team is also to be further expanded.
