Hummels becomes brand ambassador for protein start-up

Stark's products have athletes as their target group. The Hamburg-based company has now won over a very special top athlete as a brand ambassador: Mats Hummels.

Mats Hummels is the new brand ambassador of the start-up Stark. The Hamburg-based company develops and sells protein-rich products such as bowls, shakes and muesli. Now they were able to win over professional footballer and BVB player Mats Hummels: "STARK and I are now making common cause! Together we stand up for more naturalness in sports nutrition and support social football and sports projects!", the footballer writes on the Stark website. Together they also want to release products.

With every product purchased, Stark supports a project of Welthungerhilfe in the Central African Republic: in the football school in the capital Bangui, young people train and receive support from coaches and educators.

Stark was founded in 2019 by Johanna Köhler and Lukas Weinrich and is part of Purefood, which sells the Teatox, Lycka and Stark brands. Their products are available online and in supermarkets and drugstores.

Previously, the start-up called Iwice was based in Austria. There, it produced an egg white ice cream. After successfully participating in the show "2 Minutes, 2 Million", the Austrian equivalent of Die Höhle der Löwen, there were difficulties with the manufacturer and later with the production, so Köhler and Weinrich decided to abandon their company.
