Hype 1000 closes seed round

The start-up intends to use the money to expand its audio platform Hypecast, primarily with new employees.
A group of investors from the podcast industry led by Matthias von Bechtolsheim and Benjamin Minack has invested in Münster-based Hype1000 GmbH, operator of the corporate audio platform Hypecast. The amount involved is a six-figure sum.
The money will be used to expand the company and hire new employees. The angels will also act as active advisors and members of the company's supervisory board.
The platform enables the recording, control and broadcasting of information and provides senders with detailed data. Customers would be supported by Hypecast with knowledge and advice on demand.
Hypecast was developed by Münster-based Hype 1000 GmbH. Maximilian Conrad and Simon Kapell, the two founders of Hypecast, started the company with their own capital. To date, Hypecast has been financed by cash flow, friends and family as well as an early investment from the Next Media Accelerator. Matthias von Bechtolsheim commented on the investment: "The Hype 1000 team impresses me because they have understood, cracked and modernized the topic of corporate audio with empathy, chutzpah and skill. And Hypecast inspires me as a product because it makes it extremely easy for ambitious companies to access the truly comprehensive but previously almost untapped possibilities of corporate audio."
