IO-Dynamics raises seven-figure sum

The start-up aims to improve the energy and charging management of electronic vehicle fleets with its software.

IO-Dynamics has received a seven-figure sum in its current financing round. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Smart Infrastructure Ventures and be10x Capital are investing. Various business angels are also said to have participated in the round. The exact amount invested is not known.

"We are now at an important point: we have developed a solution that makes the use of electric cars more cost-effective and greener: our product is manufacturer-independent and flexible," says co-founder and CEO Johann Olsen. He founded the company together with Nabil Imran and Felix Kruse in 2018. The founders have developed software that can create intelligent charging plans for electric cars. This takes into account data from the charging stations and electric cars, as well as building data, flexible electricity prices and solar forecasts. The product is particularly interesting for companies with electric vehicle fleets.
