For humans, products with hemp are already ubiquitous, but for animals the market is still untapped. The start-up Evercann Animal Care has now changed that and launched products for horses and dogs with hemp.

Hemp in food and cosmetics, found as oil, drops, ointment and more. The choice of hemp products for humans is wide. Now there is also animal food in which CBD is processed. The Düsseldorf-based start-up Evercann Animal Care has developed two products each for dogs under the name Calmy Dog and for horses under Calmy Horse. There is wet food and biscuits with hemp for dogs, for horses pellets as herbal mix and hay mix. All developed in conjunction with veterinarians, the startup said.

According to its own information, in the products is only hemp certified according to EU directives, which is produced in Germany. There are "important nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fats and trace elements" in CBD, the start-up writes on its site.
