Franjo Pooth founds CBD cosmetics brand

The husband of presenter and entrepreneur Verona Pooth founded Pacific Healthcare in March this year, and the company is expected to turn a profit as early as 2022.

So far, Pooth and his unnamed business partner have poured a seven-figure sum into the company, as he told Gründerszene told. Pacific Healthcare has existed since March of this year, and the company is expected to raise its first venture capital in early 2022. Pooth said it has already signed up 60,000 customers.

Pooth was convicted of bankruptcy fraud and bribery in 2009, the claims of creditors ended only a few years ago. After that, it became quieter around the entrepreneur, but his first investment is not Pacific Healthcare. In 2016, he founded a cosmetics brand together with investor and juror of the show Die Höhle der Löwen Ralph Dümmel, which no longer exists today, as Gründerszene reports.

Pacific Healthcare offers creams, shower gels, dietary supplements and serums with CBD ingredients. The start-up aims to turn a profit as early as next year, with sales expected to be in the eight-figure range.
