Franjo Pooth founds CBD cosmetics brand

The husband of presenter and entrepreneur Verona Pooth founded Pacific Healthcare in March this year, and the company is expected to turn a profit as early as 2022.

The face of the brand is Verona Pooth, her husband is the founder of the company: Franjo Pooth sells CBD products under the name Pacific Healthcare. So far, Pooth and his unnamed business partner have invested a seven-figure sum in the company, as he told start-up scene told Gründerszene. Pacific Healthcare has been in existence since March this year and the company is set to raise its first venture capital at the beginning of 2022. According to Pooth, 60,000 customers have already been acquired.

Pooth was convicted of delaying insolvency and bribery in 2009, and the creditors' claims only ended a few years ago. After that, things became quieter around the entrepreneur, but Pacific Healthcare is not his first investment. In 2016, he founded a cosmetics brand together with investor and judge of the show Die Höhle der Löwen Ralph Dümmel, which no longer exists today, as Gründerszene reports.

Pacific Healthcare offers creams, shower gels, food supplements and serums with CBD ingredients. The start-up is set to turn a profit as early as next year, with sales expected to be in the eight-figure range.
