Kapital 1852 with first closing for new venture capital fund of funds

The fund with a target volume of 120 million US dollars is now entering the investment phase. The target return is 18 percent.

The new venture capital fund of funds has entered the investment phase following a successful first closing. The Equity Invest fund "Digital Growth II" has a target volume of 120 million US dollars and a target return of 18 percent. "With the first closing of the fourth strategy in the venture capital asset class, our assets under management in this segment have increased to over 250 million US dollars," says Managing Director Alexander Stern.

The investment focus of the new fund of funds is on digital technologies. The money will flow into twelve to 16 target funds from leading global venture capital fund managers. Two funds have already been subscribed. However, Kapital 1852 does not specify which ones exactly.

Kapital 1852 is the independent investment manager of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank. In addition to venture capital, Kapital 1852 also has a fund of funds in the private debt segment. The venture capitalist invests in the regions of Europe, the USA, Israel, Latin America and Asia.
