AI startup Guardian Technologies secures six-figure funding

The Munich-based start-up receives money from two business angels. Now it's time for the market launch.
The fire protection start-up Guardian Technologies has raised a second six-figure financing round. The money comes from Lars Müller and Hubert Deutsch. Müller has already invested; he heads Synbiotic, the first listed cannabis company in Germany. He is also head of his investment company Doinglean Ventures. Deutsch was previously Chief Financial Officer at household appliance manufacturer Liebherr.
"In order to ensure rapid growth for our mission, we have equipped ourselves with financial resources and are grateful to our two investors for their trust and look forward to our time together," says Jack-Leonard Bolz-Mendel, founder of Guardian Technologies. His start-up produces fire extinguishing systems that use artificial intelligence to detect fires at an early stage and extinguish them in a targeted manner. The start-up was founded last year.
The money is to be used to enter the market. Until then, the system still needs to be completed and certified and a distribution network established. "The market has needed a breath of fresh air, a lot of time has passed since the last real innovation in fire protection and I am firmly convinced that Guardian Technologies will continue to grow with the product launch of the systems," says business angel Müller.
