Klarsicht Online raises 643,000 euros in pre-seed round

Founder Gabriela Colic wants to combine the quality of local opticians with digital marketplaces. Now there is money.
Klarsicht Online receives 643,000 euros in a pre-seed round. The investors include business angels such as the Gomernik family, who have already invested in several start-ups, and Markus Weiss, Managing Partner at Minted. The fund of Ali Rezaei Ashtiani, who co-founded the unicorn Digikala years ago, also invested in Klarsicht Online.
Klarsicht Online provides local stores with digital infrastructure and handles central processing functions via its own platform. According to the company, its range includes 8,300 models from 102 opticians. The money from the financing round will be used to further develop the company. In particular, the company's own platform is to be expanded and improved. Sales and communication activities are also to be strengthened.
"We are betting that local master opticians will generate a significant proportion of their business online in the future," says founder Gabriela Colic about Klarsicht Online's business model. "We want to change consumer behavior with regard to glasses and optician services." She founded the company together with David Gevorkian in 2021.
