Live Eo receives over five million euros

The Berlin-based start-up makes it easier to monitor infrastructure - from space. In a recent financing round, Live Eo has now received 5.25 million euros from well-known investors.
Monitoring infrastructure from above - that is the concept behind the start-up Live Eo from Berlin. It uses satellite images to monitor railroads, power lines and pipelines, with artificial intelligence analyzing the data. Deutsche Bahn is one of its customers.
Live Eo has now raised 5.25 million euros in a current financing round. Btov Partners, Helen Ventures, Motu Ventures, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures and various business angels are involved. The Berlin-based company is investing the money in its expansion into the USA and other markets as well as the further development of infrastructure monitoring.
"This financing round is an important milestone for LiveEO," says co-founder Daniel Seidel. The implementation of new functions in particular is his top priority for the further development of Live Eo.
According to the company, the analysis of satellite images will enable Live Eo's customers to save operating costs and also digitize the monitoring of their networks and make them more secure: "We are excited about the opportunities offered by the analysis of satellite data to improve the safety and reliability of high-quality assets and ensure continuous monitoring for asset owners," says Terhi Vapola of Helen Ventures.
