Lodgea closes million-dollar seed funding round

Lodgea was only founded in February of this year. The software start-up is now getting support from the BayStartUp investor network.
Lodgea has raised a single-digit million amount in an unknown amount in a seed financing round. The Müller Medien family of companies and DTM Deutsche Tele Medien GmbH invested. Both companies are part of the Bavarian start-up network BayStartUp.
"Until now, there have been no solutions for direct marketers in the travel sector that combine multilingualism, multiple currencies, scalability and integrated marketing automation for traffic generation. We are closing this gap with Logdea," says CEO and founder Ricarda Kies. With the money, the start-up from Munich wants to expand in Europe and North America.
Ricarda Kies and Jan Kammerath founded Lodgea in February this year. The start-up offers software for booking and marketing accommodation. Hotel and holiday home owners can integrate the Lodgea software on their website for a monthly fee. With its concept, the company wants to compete with the big travel portals.
