Lodgea closes seed financing round worth millions

Lodgea was only founded in February of this year. The software start-up is now receiving support from the BayStartUp investor network.
Lodgea has raised a single-digit million amount in an undisclosed amount in a seed financing round. The Müller Medien family of companies and DTM Deutsche Tele Medien GmbH invested. Both companies are part of the Bavarian start-up network BayStartUp.
"Until now, there have been no solutions for direct marketers in the travel sector that combine multilingualism, multiple currencies, scalability and integrated marketing automation for traffic generation. We are closing this gap with Logdea," says Managing Director and founder Ricarda Kies. The Munich-based start-up wants to use the money to expand in Europe and North America.
Ricarda Kies and Jan Kammerath founded Lodgea in February of this year. The start-up offers software for booking and marketing accommodation. Hotel and vacation home owners can integrate the Lodgea software into their website for a monthly fee. With its concept, the company wants to compete with the major travel portals.
